Alles over Phone Without The I: O2 Xda Helen Leaked? | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Gizmodo | 2007-06-30 00:43:59
The Xda "Helen" from O2 has made its way onto the forums and it's looking HOT (yeah, we thought we'd go all summer car commercial on you, turn things up a notch). A slider running WindowsMobile 6 Pro, the Helen clocks in at 520MHz with 64MB of RAM. Micro SD compliments a handy 256MB of built-in memory, the 2MP/3MP cameras are nice, and the quad band GSM and EDGE with limited 3G support and Wi-Fi is necessary. The FM tuner? Maybe overkill.
The only uncertainty is whether we'll see a stylus to navigate WM6 Pro. Slider+stylus=evidence that smartphones are getting way more/less geeky every day.

Alles over Former site forums adopt free-to-view, pay-to-post model | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Rob Galbraith DPI | 2006-06-17 22:23:07
It has been one week since this site's discussion forums officially re-opened under new management. Now called the Pro Photo Comunity Forums, the new owners - working photographers Drew and Melissa Strickland - have been busy fine-tuning the operation of the online community to ensure that it remains a useful resource for serious and professional photographers while also becoming financially viable through the sale of US$25/year access subscriptions. Yesterday, the Stricklands implemented a significant change that will be of interest to those who like to read discussion forums, but rarely post themselves: all existing topic areas are now viewable by anyone, even those without a subscription (a paid subscription is still required to post). http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/content_page.asp?cid=7-7893-8313
