Alles over Scierra XDA top | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Prikpagina: vliegvissen.startpagina.nl | 2007-09-10 10:26:30

Alles over O2 XDA Denim 3.5G smartphone shows up at FCC | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | SlashPhone | 2007-09-05 03:05:54
Now this is more like it - if you want decent leaked cellphone photos, then the FCC are the people to go to. Today’s tidbit is the O2 XDA Denim (formerly known as the O2 Helen), but don’t worry, it’s neither fabric covered nor strategically ripped. Instead, it’s a WM6 smartphone with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, single-band UMTS/HSDPA, WiFi in b and g flavours and Bluetooth 2.0. http://www.slashphone.com/71/8235.html
Alles over Phone Without The I: O2 Xda Helen Leaked? | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Gizmodo | 2007-06-30 00:43:59
The Xda "Helen" from O2 has made its way onto the forums and it's looking HOT (yeah, we thought we'd go all summer car commercial on you, turn things up a notch). A slider running WindowsMobile 6 Pro, the Helen clocks in at 520MHz with 64MB of RAM. Micro SD compliments a handy 256MB of built-in memory, the 2MP/3MP cameras are nice, and the quad band GSM and EDGE with limited 3G support and Wi-Fi is necessary. The FM tuner? Maybe overkill.
The only uncertainty is whether we'll see a stylus to navigate WM6 Pro. Slider+stylus=evidence that smartphones are getting way more/less geeky every day.

Alles over O2 XDA Flame fries competition | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Software Headlines :: Index | 2006-11-22 18:32:32
Let's face it, when the O2 XDA Zinc is placed beside the XDA Flame, the former is positively anemic in comparison. This drool-worthy 3G Pocket PC phone is guaranteed to send chills down any smartphone enthusiast's spine, boasting an unbelievably huge 3.6" QVGA display, a dedicated graphics processor for mobile graphics, the speedy Intel XScale PXA270 520MHz processor which is ably aided by a whooping 2GB worth of ROM. Other features include WiFi connectivity, USB On-The-Go, a 2 megapixel camera, surround sound compatibility, as well as TV-out support. Perhaps things aren't so bad here after all compared to Japan if gizmos on par with the O2 XDA Flame are released more frequently.Source: http://www.uberphones.com/2006/11/windows/o2_xda_flame_fries_competition/ http://www.softwareheadlines.com/modules/planet/view.article.php/68061
Alles over O2 XDA Zinc rumbles along | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Software Headlines :: Index | 2006-11-22 18:32:32
Mother always told me to get enough minerals in my diet, but somehow along the way I got mixed up between the tablet supplements and gadgets, ending up with the O2 XDA Zinc instead. It is a mid-range 3G Pocket PC phone that features a blazing fast Intel XScale PXA270 520MHz processor, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, built-in WiFi connectivity, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 2 megapixel camera. It is disappointing to note that there is no Bluetooth connectivity included, as that feature is a staple even amongst entry-level handset these days. No word on when the XDA Zinc will be released nor how much it will cost, but remember to take your vitamins and minerals until it is released!Source: http://www.uberphones.com/2006/11/windows/o2_xda_zinc_rumbles_along/ http://www.softwareheadlines.com/modules/planet/view.article.php/68062
Alles over HTC TyTN and XDA Trion Windows Mobile Phones Available Online Now | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Gizmodo | 2006-09-01 00:27:08
The XDA Trion is an OEM version of the HTC TyTN, the 3G, Windows Mobile 5.0 based PDA phone from HTC. Both these models are almost identical, save for the "QWERTZ" instead of "QWERTY" keyboard on the XDA Trion. Other than that, even their prices are the same—$899.
The phones have quad-band GSM, 64MB of storage, and a microSD slot for expandable memory. For connectivity, they support GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA/Bluetooth/802.11b/g compliant. There's also a 2-megapixel phone and a secondary camera on the front for 3G video calls, something that isn't popular yet here in the states. Since it's GSM, you should be able to pick one up at the $899 price, and use it on one of the GSM providers here.
If you've already got a previous generation HTC device such as the T-Mobile MDA or the Verizon XV6700, there may not be a reason to upgrade. The software is the same on all these devices. You're just paying for the 3G support, higher quality camera, much faster processor, and video calling. If you don't need any of that, you can stick with the older model. – Jason Chen

Alles over O2 Xda cosmo Windows Mobile Smartphone aka HTC Excalibur | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Software Headlines :: Index | 2006-08-29 06:15:43
The internet is full of picture dropping today! Fellow MVP and Mobian, Arne Hess, drops the first real (non blurry) photos of the HTC Excalibur in the form of the O2 XDA Cosmo. Wonder how long it will take DC to steal this one? For more photos check out the::unwired . The HTC Excalibur hit the net in force with blurry images and computerized mock ups this past month and Arne has unboxed the O2 version. I would expect other GSM carriers to get onboard sooner or later. Alles over O2 Xda Atom Exec Review | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Slashdot | 2006-07-05 17:17:52
An anonymous reader writes "CNET has posted a full review of the new O2 Xda Atom Exec smartphone device. They were very impressed with the handheld, giving it their 'Editor's Choice' award. From the article: 'On its own, the Exec is a highly impressive, push e-mail enabled smart phone, but if you already own the first Atom, its upgrade worthiness is questionable.'"
