Alles over Color-Changing Caller ID | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Gizmodo | 2006-08-02 01:47:29
For readers who still have land-lines, this Color-Call caller ID should be quite useful. First you set it up by assigning color groups to people who call in—blue for family, green for friends, red for work, for example. Then, when people in these groups call in, the caller ID will light up with that color, allowing you to decide from across the room whether you want to get the call.
Great for when you're watching TV and don't want to get up, or if you're taking a nap and you're too groggy to read the actual caller ID numbers. Available for $50 and holds 100 numbers and 30 missed calls. – Jason Chen

Alles over Stop making Flash scrollbars | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Software Headlines :: Index | 2006-07-14 14:39:12
Filed under: Ideas, Tips and Tricks, SamplesHoss Gifford has figured out a way to dynamically resize a Flash movie embedded in an HTML page. The practical application of this is now you can have your movie resize based on how much content there is to display. Being able to scroll with the browsers scroll bar instead of creating a separate flash scrollbar is the chief benefit to this technique. To accomplish this Gifford uses the swfObject by Geoff Stearns. Hoss has kindly made available the source code for this project under a creative commons license in hopes that someone can improve it. Check out the demo to see the resizer in action and download all the necessary files in one convenient zip.Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | CommentsSource: http://www.flashinsider.com/2006/07/14/stop-making-flash-scrollbars/ Russell Heimlich http://www.softwareheadlines.com/modules/planet/view.article.php/15278
Alles over World's Smallest Color Wireless Camera | rss feed | toevoegen | e-mail nieuwsalarm | Software Headlines :: Index | 2006-06-26 09:20:37
By Andrew LiszewskiI have to admit that I doubt this is the actual Worlds Smallest color wireless camera as Im sure the FBI the NSA or even MI6 have even smaller versions. However this is most likely the smallest color wireless camera readily available to consumers.At approximately only 1 inch by a half inch in size this camera can be mounted or hidden almost anywhere. It will run for up to 10 hours on a single 9V battery and wirelessly transmits full color video to TV channel 59. The camera has an impressive 1000 foot range but unfortunately the transmitter requires a direct line-of-site for the signal to be picked up so while this may be perfect for attaching to RC cars or wild monkeys it probably wont work so well for spy-related activities.The Worlds Smallest color wireless camera is available on Amazon for $259.99.[Worlds Smallest Color Wireless Camera] VIA [Geek24.com] Source: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Ohgizmo?m=1450 Andrew Liszewski http://www.softwareheadlines.com/modules/planet/view.article.php/11630
