Employers deposit salary checks directly into their employees' accounts. Credit cards are used for paying all bills. Each time you buy something, the card's number is fed into the store's computer station. A master computer then deducts the charge from your bank balance.' Some things are way off: 'The car accelerates to 150 mph in the city's suburbs, then hits 250 mph in less built-up areas, gliding over the smooth plastic road. You whiz past a string of cities, many of them covered by the new domes that keep them evenly climatized year round.' And some things are sorta right: 'TV screens cover an entire wall in most homes and show most subjects other than straight text matter in color and three dimensions. Digital certificates signed by trusted certification authorities (CAs) are used for multiple
purposes, most commonly for secure binding of public keys to names and other attributes of
their owners. Although a certificate usually includes an expiration time, it is not uncommon
that a certificate needs to be revoked prematurely. For this reason, whenever a client (user
or program) needs to assert the validity of another party’s certificate, it performs revocation
checking. There are many revocation techniques varying in both the operational model and
underlying data structures. One common feature is that a client typically contacts an on-line
third party (trusted, untrusted or semi-trusted), identifies the certificate of interest and obtains
some form of a proof of either revocation or validity (non-revocation) for the certificate in
question.
While useful, revocation checking can leak potentially sensitive information. In particular,
third parties of dubious trustworthiness discover two things: (1) the identity of the party posing
the query, as well as (2) the target of the query. The former can be easily remedied with
techniques such as onion routing or anonymous web browsing. Whereas, hiding the target of
the query is not as obvious. Arguably, a more important loss of privacy results from the
third party’s ability to tie the source of the revocation check with the query’s target. (Since,
most likely, the two are about to communicate.) This paper is concerned with the problem of
privacy in revocation checking and its contribution is two-fold: it identifies and explores the
loss of privacy inherent in current revocation checking, and, it constructs a simple, efficient and

Counterfeiters aren't Microsoft's only opponents in its effort to combat piracy: Some of its customers are against it, too. The company is forging ahead with a program, Windows Genuine Advantage, tied to its free software downloads and updates, that checks whether the Windows installation on a PC is pirated. Opmerkelijk omdat: De ict'ers werkzaam in de productie en industrie zagen de grootste stijging van het netto salaris, gemiddeld namelijk 1,1 procent. Administratie- en adviesburo G. Ockhuysen BV werd opgericht op 1 januari 1978 te Amsterdam. Sinds 1 januari 1982 zijn wij gevestigd in Amstelveen, met ingang van 23 augustus 1999 op het huidige adres, Populierenlaan 127-131.
Binnen onze organisatie zijn op dit ogenblik, naast de drie directieleden / adviseurs, 15 medewerk(st)ers in vaste dienst werkzaam, waarvan enkele op parttime basis.
Wij verlenen onze administratieve, fiscale en overige diensten aan circa 450 relaties, waaronder ongeveer 150 particulieren. De zakelijke relaties bestaan hoofdzakelijk uit ondernemingen in het midden- en kleinbedrijf en vrije beroepsbeoefenaren. Specialisatie op bepaalde beroeps- of ondernemingsgroepen heeft (bewust) niet plaatsgevonden.

Functie omschrijving:
Tot de taken van een salarisadministrateur behoren alle voorkomende
werkzaamheden op salaris administratie gebied voor onze cliënten zoals oa. het verwerken van de aangeleverde salarismutaties, het maken van betaaladvieslijsten, salarisstroken, jaaropgaven, journaalposten en koppeling met de financiele administratie, controles uitoefenen en contacten onderhouden met cliënten en instellingen zoals bv. de Belastingdienst en verzekeringsmaatschappijen.
Naast deze werkzaamheden kunnen financieel administratieve en/of fiscale werkzaamheden tot de taken behoren.
Functie-eisen:
- Een dienstverlenende en flexibele instelling.
- Verantwoordelijkheid en nauwkeurigheid kenmerken je werkhouding.
- Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke vaardigheden.
- Opleiding PDL, MBA of vergelijkbaar niveau.
- Een pré is werkervaring in vergelijkbare functie (op accountants -of administratiekantoor)
- Ervaring met Exact Globe 2003
