Palin nam kans met beide handen aan en zei in haar speech: I will deliver. Maar daar is twijfel over. Het lijkt er op dat ze vooral gescreend is op haar looks, niet op haar achtergrond. Er wordt gezegd dat Sarah Palin een goeie manier is om de Hillary-stemmers aan te trekken, maar de inhoud is nogal verschillend. Sarah Palin is een echte pro-lifer en creationist.
 Daags voor haar benoeming is de kwestie over het verslag van haar zwager Mike Wooten uit haar wiki gewist. Deze kwestie wordt nu toch uitgekamd, want de media vinden dit een leuke soap. Hier is de wiki-moddereter die het ontdekte aan het woord (flash, geluid). De gene die haar wiki had aangepast had Young Trig als nick aangenomen.
 Pikant detail: Zo heet de jongste kind van Palin. En daar is nog iets mee aan de hand. Want Palin toonde helemaal niet zwanger, werkte lang door en was drie dagen na de geboorte van het jongetje (een mongooltje) al weer op de been. Daily Kos heeft de boel op een rijtje gezet. De meest voor de hand liggende conclusie is dat Sarah Palin de stand-in moeder is voor haar 16 jarige dochter's illegale pro-life kind. Heren, wij twijfelen of u Sarah wel wilt palen.
