Heren Bentley-liefhebbers,
Ik ben in de bevoorrechte positie om een nieuwe bentley te mogen aanschaffen voor mijn werkgever. (een Arnage RL)
Het betreft hier echter een auto voor Engeland en wil deze graag in Nederland aanschaffen als export-auto (dus BPM- en BTW vrij).
Bij Hessing deed men echter nogal moeilijk.
(zoals men daar wel vaker moeilijk doet en daarom hebben zij al meerdere malen een auto aan hun neus voorbij zien gaan....)
iemand die mij kan helpen aan een andere leverancier in nederland?

Never mind that Bentley's Arnage T is the Fatty Arbuckle of the automotive world (minus the Coke bottle), it's still Bent's flagship, retrograde as it is, and improvements must be made as a matter of course. The company says the 2007 T will get a power upgrade to the great thumping beast of a turbo V8, to 500 horsepower, with a new ZF six-speed autobox to improve fuel economy (stop snickering, Pennyworth). Lesser models, R and RL will get a 50-hp boost to 450 hp. And in a nod to the 21st century, the new models are getting Bluetooth. Yep, it's most definitely the end of the world.

Aww...so cute. Nicole Kidman already has her new hubby trained and everything -- TMZ's got this video from Nashville of new ball-and-chain Keith Urban opening the door for his new bride at every stop the couple made...even when she was driving. That's got to be kind of awkward -- "Honey, could you hit the unlock button so I can open the door for you?" Yes, we know it's celeb tabloid gossip crap -- but any chance we've got to check out a gorgeous black Bentley, and from multiple angles no less, we take it.

We're not sure if they can turn the world on with a smile or not, but MTM knows how to heat up their German-British mates. With their latest tuning kit for the Bentley Continental GT, the MTMers created the fastest Bentley ever, with a top speed of 205 mph recorded on Italy's Nardo test track. All that speediness comes from a set of mods that bring the stock Continental's W12 up to 650 bhp, up from the standard 560 hp, by way of an elegant combination of recalibrated engine management software and a custom exhaust system. They also hacked the suspension computer to match the upclocked performance and shod the GT with 21" alloys. Zero to 60 mph is accomplished in 4.2 seconds (down from 4.8 stock).

Speculation on a reportedly upcoming Bentley SUV sent the guys from Syberites a' Googling. What they uncovered is Bentley's previous attempt at a truckster, back in 1994. The Dominator, as it was featured in an issue of the UK's Autocar, was a limited production vehicle built on the bones of the contemporaneous Range Rover. It appears it was a bespoke model, the only built models of which were shipped to the desert to satisfy the Sultan of Brunei's penchant for luxury trucks. Will the reportedly new SUV be the same manner of tarted-up Touareg, or will the boys from Bent stick a Continental GT up on a 1973 Chevy K5 Blazer chassis? We'll see.

Hyah, mule! Hyah! Spies say this off-kilter Porsche Cayenne is none so much a Porsche as a test mule for a new Bentley SUV that's reportedly in the works. Of course, the spies could tell us pretty much anything and we'd believe them, considering they're the ones on the front lines and we're so far in the backfield we can't even see the peanut vendor. Nonetheless, Bentley's new bus had better have six wheels, twin W16s and a 32-speed gearbox or we're not even getting out of bed that day. We're serious.
