This position is responsible for providing direct management of assigned Partner relationships in which frontline support is being provided on behalf of CA by the Partner. The position's focus is to cultivate and grow the Partner relationship while ensuring that best in class technical support is continually provided to CA's end customers. Key Responsibilities Conduct in depth assessments, analysis and financial reviews of the Partners nominated by the Channel Sales organization within realm of authority. Present Partner Delivered Support (PDS) program to nominated Partners as well as internal stakeholders and related organizations as applicable. Execute on-site technical support competency reviews for the nominated Partners during the appraisal phase of the PDS process. Document the findings of the on-site PDS competency review; assess results as the foundation for the decision on authorization for the Partner to join the PDS Program. Be involved in the preparation of proposed contracts for those Partners chosen to join the PDS program, to ensure all required adjustments are made to the applicable PDS addendums. Arrange and lead regular status meetings with the Partners to review open support incidents and address any challenges impeding resolution, discuss continuous improvement opportunities and up-sell opportunities. Execute the Partner enablement effort for incoming PDS Partners through the creation of a Support Implementation Plan (SIP), which should include the Partner Support Readiness Training plan. Perform ongoing management of PDS Partners as the first line liaison between the Partner and the technical support organization. Execute periodic reviews of PDS Partner incidents opened to CA backline support to ensure progress. Execute periodic Issue Quality Reviews (IQR) of PDS Partner incidents opened to CA backline support to ensure all required pre-work (research, reproduction, etc) has been completed by the PDS Partner and the incident has been fully documented. Prepare required statistics for Quarterly Business Review (QBR). Conduct QBR with designated Partner personnel includes updating the Support Implementation Plan (SIP). Provide ongoing status reports on PDS Partner activities to upstream management. Fulfill the role of escalation manager for any PDS Partner escalations and to ensure that internal coordination is executed and that the PDS Partner's incident is resolved as expeditiously as possible. Proactively inform Partners of any planned PDS Program enhancements or adjustments, as related to the impact they will have on each PDS Partner's unique situation. Ensure that the PDS Partner's Support team maintains Qualified Support Engineer (QSE) status by following and completing Support Readiness Training plans. Ensure the Partners are subscribed to receive product updates notifications using the available resources (to include New Releases, major Service Packs etc.). Execute the Partner reduction effort for Partners not being sponsored or approved to provide technical support on behalf of CA.
